The Committee on International Arbitration and Alternative Dispute Resolution (“ADR”) seeks to (1) promote the study and use of arbitration and other methods of ADR; (2) provide a forum for the discussion of global developments in these areas; and (3) increase communication, education and sharing of knowledge and experience among practitioners in the field.

The Committee shall carry out these goals by (a) organizing educational programs in the form of conferences, luncheons, or other formats; (b) working with local and international arbitration and ADR organizations to sponsor events and programs; (c) advocating for local or international action aimed at fostering the use of arbitration and ADR for resolving international business disputes; and (d) becoming a resource for members of the Committee and the greater Association with questions about international arbitration and ADR.
