The mission of the Litigation Committee is to address the needs of Section members and other attorneys in connection with rules of practice and procedure relating to intellectual property litigation, including issues relating to the implementation of rules of practice that may affect the practice of intellectual property law, and the selection and appointment of judges and magistrate judges. The Committee intends to meet these needs through the dissemination of relevant information from government sources, soliciting comments and making recommendations to the Section Chair in connection with rule-making, participating in the judicial selection process, and developing educational programs, forums and publications with the goal of educating Section Members and providing opportunities for skill development.
