Jud : Council of Judicial Associations

The Council of Judicial Associations meets at least four (4) times per year with the goal of promoting improvement in the administration of justice in the courts of the State; studying the relationship of the federal and state courts sitting within the state and promoting effective cooperation between the two systems; promoting effective cooperation between the members of the bench and members of the bar; unifying the efforts of judicial associations in the state; recommending and seeking the passage of legislation and adopting policies consistent with its purposes, and reviewing legislation and policies affecting its purposes and making recommendations covering same; and arranging programs and panel discussions of interest and assistance to judges and their courts, to federal-state court relations, or to bench and bar relations.

The Council of Judicial Association comprises the officers of the Section and all former presiding members, as well as the presidents of the following judicial associations or his/her designee:
