Environmental & Energy Law Section 2025 Annual Oil Spill Symposium

Join us for the 15th Annual Oil Spill Symposium, a premier event bringing together legal practitioners, environmental consultants, and government professionals involved in petroleum spills in New York State. This year’s program will feature timely updates and practical insights on the Oil Spill Fund, evolving ethical considerations regarding the new spill reporting requirements under the new Petroleum Bulk Storage (PBS) regulations, and the petroleum implications of recent changes to CP-51. As always, we will have the annual Oil Spill Fund Update from the State Comptroller’s Office, annual Oil Spill Unit Update from the Office of the Attorney General, Petroleum Bulk Storage update from NYSDEC, and annual Oil Spill Act Case Law Update. Don’t miss this opportunity to gain valuable perspectives for practitioners navigating this complex and dynamic area of law.
This is a two part event, with the Annual Legislative Forum taking place on Wednesday, May 7, 2025. Register here: https://nysba.org/events/environmental-energy-law-section-2025-annual-legislative-forum/.
