In this unique program, Robert (“Bob”) Abrams will moderate a panel of experienced practitioners as they address and discuss important society issues likely to confront elder law attorneys, their clients and their families now and in the future. Learn about the legal, financial, healthcare and personal challenges confronting the over 100 million Americans over the age of 50 including the truths and legal consequences of aging and longevity, how the aging brain works (including neurological disorders and conditions), how and by whom mental capacity determinations are made, how older persons access and pay for healthcare, public policy considerations, legal, financial, estate and tax issues impacting wealthy individuals, and the physical and financial abuse of older persons.
