How To Deal With Technology (2018)
New sources of electronic data appear on a daily basis. Think of autonomous vehicles such as airborne drones, robots, and health apps as examples of such sources. These sources contribute new varieties and volumes of data that should be evaluated by both public and private entities for management purposes and integrated into information governance policies and procedures. Failure to undertake this evaluation and integration can lead to adverse consequences as data can be mismanaged or lost. This program will address the establishment and operation of information governance policies, the risks of failure to comply with those policies, and what might make policies “resilient” and prepared for new data.
