This important and timely program explores and reviews areas that will enable the practitioner to advise clients on many aspects of Medicaid eligibility rules and planning. The program agenda has been designed to cover topics that confront elder law practitioners and their clients on a regular basis.
Medicaid planning is the focus of the program, highlighted by presentations on: Medicaid eligibility, Medicaid trusts, Medicaid applications for nursing home and home care, Medicaid crisis plans, and retirement accounts and Medicaid planning. The latest legal developments in each area will be addressed, as well as document drafting tips, where appropriate, unforeseen traps for the unwary, and practical guidance in counseling your clients in often challenging Medicaid planning scenarios.
