Public Sector Labor Relations:Practicing Before PERB And OCB

This program will provide an overview of public sector labor law in New York State for both newly admitted attorneys and seasoned practitioners. It will not only serve as a useful introduction for those attorneys who do not now or have never practiced public sector labor law, but will also update current law, best practices and trends in the field which will benefit more experienced practitioners. 
Presenters include staff from the Public Employment Relations Board and the New York City Office of Collective Bargaining as well as other experts from management and labor so that the presentation will be fairly balanced.   
 
The topics presented will provide a broad and comprehensive overview of representation issues, dispute resolution mechanisms, collective negotiations and the conciliation processes as well as topical ethical issues.
