What You Need To Know As A Guardian Ad Litem (2018)
The four hours of MCLE credit you will earn from this program include coverage of: 1) the substantive rules and law of Part 36 of the Rules of the Chief Judge (22 NYCRR Part 36) governing court appointment of fiduciaries, 2) ethics, and 3) the procedural aspects of serving as a guardian ad litem as well as the substantive role of a guardian ad litem in various proceedings.
The program faculty includes experienced trusts and estates practitioners and Surrogate’s Court personnel. Get certified and gain valuable skills credits.
Certified Training:
This program is certified by the Unified Court System’s Office of Guardianship and Fiduciary Services for purposes of required training to qualify for appointment as a guardian ad litem under Part 36 of the Rules of the Chief Judge.
