1) Phone a Friend? How will you cope when a Cyber Attack hits?

In this day and age, cyber attacks are almost inevitable. Former FBI Director, James Comey famously said "there are two kinds of organizations, those who have been hacked and those who don’t know they have been hacked". Ransomware gangs in particular are targeting law firms as they believe they are a soft touch. The fact that law firms have paid ransoms in the past has not helped. Given that attacks are inevitable how will you respond and meet your professional obligations when the hackers hit you? A distinguished international panel will look at the effects of cyber crime, cyber warfare and give practical tips on risk reduction.

2) Brave New World: New Frontiers In Regulations Of Crypto

It has been said that the world of cryptocurrency is a rapid distillation in less than a decade of lessons learned by the larger financial sector over a century. Unregulated, recent disturbances in the world of crypto – the so-called crypto winter – have drawn attention both to the lack of established norms and have inspired calls for greater regulation.

This panel will address recent developments in the world of crypto – hacks, the collapse of Celsius, the failure of algorithmic stable coins, as well as recent government actions, including recent insider trading cases, the SEC’s battle against Ripple, and others. A panel of international regulators and others will discuss respective regulatory approaches and explore (1) if and how regulations on the matter can stabilize the market; (2) what those potential regulations might look like; and (3) how the exchanges, intermediaries and other participants can implement anti money laundering (AML) and related procedures to avoid the misuse of the market for illicit activities.

3) ESG: Ethical Approaches to Improving Social Policies in the Workplace

Organizations recognize that diversity, inclusion, and mental wellbeing are critical issues to address in the workplace. This panel takes the next step beyond discussing what this means and provides practical advice on how to ethically implement programs by providing practical tools that can be used to reduce psychosocial risks in the workplace and improve mental wellbeing facilitating a culture of inclusion for all. These tools can be used to improve the workplace culture and then to advise clients on developing their own social programs, based on experience, helping them improve the Social aspect of their ESG initiatives.
