Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) and Attorney Well-Being: Everything You Wanted To Know but Were Afraid To Ask

In this program, we'll hear from Nicole DeNamur of Sustainable Strategies, who will explore these components related to well-being and ESG:

• Developing a baseline understanding of ESG, including as it relates to Well-Being – what is ESG?  How is ESG showing up for law firms?  How does ESG relate to attorney well-being? 
• Preparing for requests for information and future reporting requirements – what requests for ESG-related information might look like, and what you need to know to get ready to respond.  
• Recognizing and leveraging bigger picture impacts – improving wellness through broader, systemic changes and aligning your work, office space, and firm operations with these values.

Nicole DeNamur, JD, LEED Green Associate, WELL AP and Faculty, Fitwel Ambassador, EcoDistricts AP is an attorney and sustainability consultant, based in Seattle, WA. She helps her clients identify and manage the risks of sustainable innovation so they can pursue robust sustainability goals.  She is also an award-winning contributing author and has developed and taught graduate-level courses at the University of Washington and Boston Architectural College.  Nicole was recently awarded Educator of the Year for 2022 by the International WELL Building Institute, and named an Outstanding Voice of Pride 2023, by the Puget Sound Business Journal.
