Domestic Arbitration Committee

The Committee on Domestic Arbitration seeks to educate arbitrators and advocates about new developments and best practices in arbitration, to expand arbitration’s use as a means of resolving disputes, and to work collaboratively—with other Sections, other DR Section Committees, arbitration service providers, courts with arbitration programs, and other organizations—to address issues in arbitration in a variety of practice areas. The Committee also seeks to promote the efficient and effective use of arbitration in New York and to promote the choice of New York law for domestic arbitrations. During each term, the Committee hosts a mix of Committee meetings, informational programs, and CLEs.
