WHO WE ARE
The Wine, Beer and Spirits Law Committee serves as the New York State Bar Association’s focal point for legal issues impacting the alcohol beverage industry at the state, federal, and international levels. The Committee brings together attorneys across New York who advise clients throughout the three-tier system and adjacent sectors.
This long-standing and highly regulated industry continues to evolve alongside shifting consumer trends, emerging product categories, and ongoing legislative and regulatory developments. Our members are actively engaged in navigating these changes and helping to shape the future of alcohol beverage law in New York and beyond.
We hope you’ll join us in this effort.

  • Educational programming and practical resources across all tiers of the industry
  • Opportunities to engage with fellow practitioners and industry stakeholders
  • Thought leadership on emerging issues, including innovation in beverage products and distribution models
Through collaboration and knowledge-sharing, the Committee aims to support practitioners in delivering high-quality legal counsel while helping New York maintain a well-regulated, competitive, and forward-looking alcohol beverage marketplace.
