The Task Force will examine the current opioid addiction public health crisis. The Task force will engage key NYSBA section and committee stakeholders and stakeholders statewide in discussions of diversion incentives, including pathways to treatment, recovery, and access to needed services. They will also study legislative proposals and make recommendations for policy change that will advance the goals of treatment, recovery, and community engagement, with attention to special populations.
