The New York State Bar Association’s Committee on Leadership Development is rolling out one of its new initiatives, the Leadership Academy. The Leadership Academy has been developed to provide leadership training to promising members at all levels who are interested in leadership positions within the Association and the legal profession. The first program will be a “fireside chat” with current President Richard Lewis and former Presidents Andrew Brown and Sherry Levin Wallach. The program will focus on “Leader Identity” and the panelists will discuss leadership philosophy, growth mindset, emotional intelligence and agility, resilience, brand/networking and personal accountability.
