Survive to Thrive for Attorney Well-Being

Burnout isn't a workload problem — it's a nervous system problem. In this talk, former litigation attorney and burnout recovery coach Sammy Catone reveals the neuroscience behind why high-achieving attorneys burn out and why standard advice fails.
Drawing on her three-pillar framework — Rewire, Rebuild, and Reconnect — Sammy guides attendees through understanding the subconscious beliefs driving burnout, rebuilding self-worth as a physiological foundation, and how reconnecting with meaning and purpose regulates the nervous system at the deepest level.

About your speaker:
Sammy knows what it costs to be a high achiever. After nearly a decade as a litigation attorney, she found herself fighting for her life. Not burned out in the way people casually use the word — but severely ill, with her body giving out. From the outside, she looked like someone who had it together. On the inside, she was suffering in a way she couldn't explain and couldn't seem to escape. She biohacked her health, saw specialists, optimized her routine, cleaned up her diet, and did every evidence-based thing she could find. Nothing worked until she started to examine the root cause of her anxious thoughts — her belief system, self-worth, and identity. She began studying neuroscience and applying the principles of neuroplasticity to rewire her brain and nervous system. She healed her illness and rebuilt her life from the inside out. While recovering, she had her most profitable year as an attorney and found a level of joy and fulfillment she didn't think was possible.
That experience is the foundation of everything she teaches.
