The Emerging Leaders Committee (the “Committee”) will serve as a platform to engage, develop, and elevate early-career antitrust practitioners within the NYSBA Antitrust Law Section. Its mission is to:
- Cultivate the next generation of Section leaders by providing meaningful opportunities for junior lawyers to participate in programming, leadership, and Section initiatives.
- Lower barriers to participation by creating avenues for junior attorneys to contribute without requiring prior experience or visibility.
- Enhance engagement and retention of younger members by fostering community and professional development.
- Promote the Section externally by leveraging junior members’ networks, perspectives, and energy to expand visibility and membership.
The Committee will act as an on-ramp to leadership and can also function as a laboratory for new ideas, supporting the long-term vitality of the Section.
