Beyond Borders: Estate Planning, Global Payments and Entrepreneurship

The International Section’s 2027 Annual Conference program will explore three areas of growing importance for lawyers advising clients with international interests. The program will address cross-border estate planning for U.S. residents with assets in other jurisdictions; international payment services, digital assets and cross-border remittances, focusing on the evolving regulatory environment for moving money worldwide; and startup companies serving global markets, comparing the United States and other jurisdictions for entrepreneurs building internationally focused businesses. The three panels will offer practical and comparative perspectives on the legal issues arising as individuals, payments and businesses increasingly operate across borders.

Understand the key legal and practical considerations for advising clients on cross-border estate planning, global payments and remittances, digital assets, and internationally focused startups.
