Please join the Women in Law Section on Thursday, December 10 from 6:00 to 7:00pm Eastern Time for a virtual book club meeting titled “A Lawyer’s Journey: Turning Fact into Fiction.” December’s featured book, Failure to Protect, is a legal thriller that takes on the bullying epidemic and its devastating aftermath. We are delighted that author Pamela Samuels Young will attend the meeting to discuss the novel and her transition from practicing law to a full-time writing career, and to answer questions from the attendees. Failure to Protect is available for sale in eBook, paperback, and audiobook via this link on
 Amazon.

Attorney and award-winning author Pamela Samuels Young is known for writing fast-paced legal thrillers that tackle important social issues. Before retiring from the practice of law, Pamela worked as Managing Counsel for Toyota specializing in labor and employment law. A former journalist, she spent several years as a television news writer and associate producer in Detroit and Los Angeles. Pamela earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism from USC, a master’s in broadcasting from Northwestern University, and a law degree from UC Berkeley.
