To honor a lawyer or judge whose remarkable career has contributed to the betterment of the legal profession. Judges, administrators, attorneys or defendants may be nominated. The award is named for the late Martin B. Adelman, a highly respected attorney and brilliant advocate, who served as Chair of the Criminal Justice Section from 1991-1993, and passed away earlier this year. Marty passionately represented the interests of his clients, while always adhering to the highest standards of ethics.
