Former Judges: Life After the Bench

Former New York State and Federal Judges will discuss why they chose to serve as mediators and arbitrators after leaving the bench and how they accomplished the transition from judge to either. They will reflect on what difficulties they encountered, what was accomplished in the transition, conduct or behaviors that changed, lessons learned, and how they developed their mediation and arbitration practices.
