Rewriting the Rules: Resilience, Reinvention & the Future of Legal Practice

The legal profession is being rewritten in real time. AI is transforming how lawyers work, client expectations are shifting, and traditional career paths no longer guarantee traditional outcomes. Rewriting the Rules: Resilience, Reinvention & the Future of Legal Practice is a full-day CLE program that explores how lawyers can adapt, advocate, and lead amid this change, with particular attention on women attorneys’ technology skills, experiences and expertise, and leadership in the profession. Sessions examine how AI and automation are reshaping legal workflows without displacing judgment and creativity; how lawyers can rewrite outdated rules around sponsorship, visibility, and advancement; and how we can build resilient leadership for a profession in flux. A dedicated ethics panel addresses the professional responsibility questions that AI-assisted practice raises, including competence, confidentiality, and supervision.
