IV. Creating Accessibility in the Practice of Elder Law How to Make Your Elder Law Practice, Online and Offline and In-Person More Accessible to Your Clients.

The presenters will share how they have adapted their firms and practice policies to accommodate seniors and those with special needs or other physical limitations. This session will begin with an interview with Michael (who has severe hearing loss and is blind) on his experiences in entering offices and discussing the difference it makes for him when the location is accessible or thoughtfully arranged with a focus on persons with physical or sensory limitations. The speakers will discuss and draw upon their experiences working with special needs and disabled clients. We will learn how they have physically structured their offices, policies, work products, websites, and communication to accommodate their staff and their clients. They will also discuss how to walk the walk and talk the talk when serving and advocating for people with disabilities.
