The Energy Committee focuses on the law of siting, permitting, planning and compliance of energy facilities in New York. This is a rapidly changing area of law in the state, and the Committee provides education and training opportunities to keep members informed of new legal developments and their application by government agencies and the courts. The Committee also provides networking opportunities for energy attorneys to exchange knowledge and ideas, and reviews and comments on proposed legislation and regulations pertaining to energy issues.
