The Enforcement & Compliance Committee’s mission is to provide a lively and educational forum for the discussion of new and significant developments regarding state and federal statutes and regulations; guidance and policies; judicial and administrative decisions; and other enforcement matters. The Committee covers a broad subject matter and sometimes works with other Committees. Currently, for example, the Committee is drafting an article regarding a new statute of limitations for claims by water providers and new maximum contaminant levels for certain emerging contaminants; working on a panel regarding criminal enforcement issues; and drafting an article with the Environmental Justice Committee.

The Committee welcomes new members and ideas for Committee activities. Membership is open to all members of the Environmental and Energy Law Section.
