Beatriz Marques, a NYS Attorney since January 2018, is an Assistant Attorney General at the Office of the New York State Attorney General’s Antitrust Bureau. She received her LL.B in Law from the University of Bristol in the UK, and her LL.M in European Law from Université Panthéon Assas (Paris II) in France. Beatriz has a record of prestigious work experiences including Kreab a European Public Affairs firm, UNESCO in Paris, the United Nations in Nicaragua, the Central American Court of Justice, and a law firm in Central America, Consortium Legal. Beatriz is passionate about Antitrust Law and completed a Certificate of Advanced Studies in International Competition Law and Compliance at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences in Switzerland in 2018. In 2019, Beatriz was Shortlisted for the Concurrences Antitrust Writing Awards, and in 2020 received the New York Attorney General’s Louis J. Lefkowitz Memorial Award for her work on the T-Mobile/Sprint Merger Challenge.

William Reiss has nearly two decades of experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants in high profile antitrust litigation. William focuses his practice on complex antitrust litigation and class actions. He also provides antitrust counseling work on behalf of generic pharmaceutical companies.

William has secured well in excess of a billion dollars on behalf of his clients. He currently serves as co-lead class counsel on behalf of a class of end-payor purchasers of automobiles in In re Automotive Parts Antitrust Litigation for which he has been instrumental in achieving the largest indirect purchaser recovery in U.S. history (more than $1.2 billion in settlements to date). William was recently named an “Up and Coming” Attorney, Chambers USA (2020).
