Ancient & Traditional Approaches to Dispute Resolution: What Modern Practitioners Can Learn

This program is intended to educate the audience about ancient and traditional dispute and conflict resolution approaches and systems from various ethnic cultures of the world. Individuals who have specific knowledge of these ancient dispute and conflict resolution systems will be identified and solicited as speakers to present in a regional panel presentation format. The final panel presentation will consist of representatives from various affinity groups who are involved in dispute resolution, indicating how the information shared about ancient and traditional dispute and conflict resolution can be, or is being, incorporated into modern dispute resolution programs.
A luncheon consisting of foods from many of the different ethnic regions represented in the presentations will be served. A cocktail reception will follow the program.
