Burn Before Reading: State Book Banning Laws and Litigation

A recent report from PEN America counted more than 10,000 cases of book censorship in public schools nationwide in the last academic year, including almost 8,000 in Florida and Iowa. 

We will hear from attorneys directly involved in cases challenging the book banning legislation and from a publisher that is one of the named plaintiffs in these lawsuits.
