Changing The Narrative: An Uplifting Story About Climate Change
Please join NYSBA’s Women in Law Section on Thursday, March 23, 2023 from 6:00 to 7:00 pm Eastern Time for a virtual book club meeting featuring Sarah E. Lewis and her novel, The Change Agents: Whispers in the Wind. In this optimistic climate fiction story, animals seek an extraordinary partnership with humans and race together against the climate crisis to save their shared world from a changing climate. This book offers an escape from the doom and gloom stories about climate change and will leave readers feeling optimistic about our ability to fight this threat and energized to do something about it.
Sarah E. Lewis developed a love for animals and the environment while growing up near Albany, New York, fueling her imagination by spending time in nature. After earning several degrees (B.A., Environmental Studies, Middlebury College; J.D., Syracuse University College of Law; and M.S., Environmental Science, State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry), she entered private law practice (retiring from Bond, Schoeneck & King in 2021). Following the death of her beloved canine, Bebop, she honored his memory by writing The Change Agents: Whispers in the Wind, in which he is a main character. Sarah hopes this book will inspire people to get more involved in fighting the climate crisis.
