DOJ Criminal Antitrust Enforcement: A Look Back and a Look Ahead
friedfrank.com During this program U.S. DOJ Antitrust Division’s Acting Director of Criminal Enforcement Emma Burnham will deliver keynote remarks discussing recent DOJ criminal antitrust enforcement actions and enforcement priorities heading into 2024.
Ms. Burnham’s remarks will be preceded by a panel discussion regarding the increasing role of economic experts in criminal antitrust enforcement. The panelists will be Rosa Abrantes-Metz (Berkeley Research Group), David Chu (Assistant Chief NYO, Antitrust Division), Jee-Yeon Lehmann (Analysis Group), and Marc Weinstein (Hughes Hubbard & Reed LLP). Elizabeth Prewitt (Latham & Watkins LLP) will moderate.
The program will mark the launch of the NYSBA Antitrust Section Cartel & Criminal Practice Committee’s four-part podcast, Undercurrents Unveiled: The Marine Hose Cartel Antitrust Odyssey. The program will be concluded with a cocktail reception.
