Helpful Information for Tenants: COVID-19-Related Updates, Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP), and More
Program Description: The New York State Bar Association will be presenting an informational session for tenants facing the threat of eviction. This program will cover the new rights and protections that are have been put in place as a result of COVID-19, including the eviction moratorium, and how to ensure this moratorium will be applied to your case. It will also discuss best strategies for those cases in which the moratorium may not apply. Finally, the program will touch on assistance programs, including the Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP), and how tenants should be preparing for the expiration of the eviction moratorium.
