NYSBA Arbitrator Roundtable | February 2025

The Domestic Arbitration Committee will periodically be hosting free NYSBA Arbitrator Roundtables. This Roundtable is designed as a forum for arbitrators of all levels—from newer arbitrators to seasoned practitioners—to share and discuss arbitration experiences and suggested practices and tips with fellow practitioners. This will be an interactive dialogue, not recorded, so please come ready to discuss specific arbitration challenges you have faced and to workshop them with other arbitrators. We invite arbitrators of all levels of experience to join in this dialogue and learn from each other. We look forward to having this conversation with you! The moderators are Rachel Gupta and Jennifer Lupo, co-chairs of the Domestic Arbitration Committee. The guest-host for this Roundtable will be Maureen Beyers, who has been nationally recognized as a top arbitrator and has served as an arbitrator and chairperson in hundreds of arbitrations throughout the United States, involving a variety of business disputes, many of which presented complex commercial issues. She is a panelist for several ADR organizations, including many of the American Arbitration Association's specialized panels, such as its Large and Complex Case Panel, is a Fellow of the College of Commercial Arbitrators, and is on the rosters of National Arbitration and Mediation and the American Health Law Association. Maureen has also qualified to conduct international arbitrations as a Fellow and Chartered Arbitrator with the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, the International Institute for Conflict Prevention & Resolution, and the International Centre for Dispute Resolution.
