Resistance and Opportunity: Using Dispute Prevention to Preserve Relationships

Monday, 2 February 2026, 5:30 – 7:00 pm ET
Resistance and Opportunity: Using Dispute Prevention in a variety of industries for timely completion of projects and preservation of relationships while being fiscally responsible decisions.
This is the second program in a series taking a systematic approach to learning about dispute prevention and the skills and training that will be helpful in becoming a DP practitioner. In the DP Committee’s 10 November 2025 program, Ellen Waldman discussed conflict management and ways to prevent disputes before they arise.
On 2 February 2026, a distinguished panel will discus resistance and opportunities in the dispute prevention field. The panelists are litigators, corporate counsel, business executives, and DP practitioners who will discuss how the financial and relationship challenges of litigation propelled them to find other ways to draft contracts, manage conflicts during projects, save costs, and preserve relationships.
