The Co-Chairs of the New York State Bar Association Dispute Resolution Section Sports ADR Committee cordially invite NYSBA Dispute Resolution Section and Entertainment, Arts, and Sports Section members to an in-person luncheon meeting, on November 16, 2022. Lunch is being provided by the Committee.

SPEAKERS:

Mark Conrad, Esq.  — Associate Professor, Law and Ethics; Director, Sports Business Initiative; Director, Sports Business Concentration; Gabelli School of Business at Fordham University. Prof. Conrad will present, “The Deshaun Watson Saga — An Imperfect System of Dispute Resolution in the NFL”.

David Greenspan, Esq. — An antitrust, sports, and complex-commercial litigator, David advises clients on wide-ranging matters and represents them at arbitration and trial through any appeals. He Co-Chairs Winston’s top-ranked Sports Law Practice.  David routinely represents the NFL Players Association and NFL players in arbitrations, including Tom Brady, DeShaun Watson, Colin Kaepernick, Ray Rice, Adrian Peterson, Ezekiel Elliott, Eric Reid, Terrell Owens, and Michael Vick. David has also represented the MLB Players Association, several Olympic athletes, a former NBA player, and various sports agencies and sports agents in arbitrations.
