There are a number of important amendments to the AAA Commercial Arbitration Rules and Mediation Procedures (which became effective Sept. 1, 2022) that every litigator, arbitration user and arbitrator should know. These amendments provide key updates and improvements to the commercial arbitration process including those relating to consolidation and joinder, dispositive motions, confidentiality, remote hearings, conduct of the parties and more.
