Longtime UR Trustee Bob Witmer Has Died

WXXI News reported that Past President G. Robert Witmer, Jr. passed away at the age of 82. He was president from 1994-1995.

The  University of Rochester is mourning the passing of Bob Witmer. He was 82.

UR officials say that Witmer, an alumnus of the university, served as a member of its Board of Trustees for 40 years, including serving as chair from 2003 to 2008.
