NYSBA: Hire more parole commissioners, implement good time credits

The New York State Bar Association is embracing a set of recommendations aiming to make the state’s parole system more fair and effective.

The three suggestions, compiled by an association task force and detailed in a newly released report, tackle the way the state handles parole violations, encourages good behavior and oversees cases.
