2022 Changes to the Statewide Central Register of Child Abuse & Maltreatment
New York has enacted significant reform of the law governing the State Central Register of Child Abuse and Maltreatment (SCR) that will go into effect at the beginning of 2022. This training will explain the changes and how they affect Family Court litigants. It will also provide an overview of the process for amending and sealing records in the SCR.
