Part One of this practice guide is designed to provide the general practitioner who encounters occasional workplace issues with an overview of the complex and interrelated issues in labor and employment law. Coverage includes the state and federal laws prohibiting discrimination and retaliation in employment, wage and hour laws and workplace health and safety, collective bargaining law in the private and public sectors, and more.

Coverage of labor and employment law has been substantially revised and reorganized by the authors to make it even more useful for the practitioner. Workers' comp forms have been reviewed and updated, and new forms relating to labor and employment practice have been added.
