Our service members and veterans often face unique challenges when addressing custody matters and assessment and adjustment of child and other support obligations, from deployment to advancement, to retirement. This program will identify these challenges and discuss the difficulties faced in representing these folks and provide suggestions on strategies that can be invoked to put the service member or veteran in the best position while also ensuring the needs of their children and other defendants are met.
