This program will discuss staffing and design of emerging nursing home and residential care models shown to significantly improve quality of life while reducing transmission and mortality from COVID-19 compared with large institutional nursing home settings; key practices from these models that can be implemented in existing nursing homes and residential care models; and an innovative population health system coordinating housing, healthcare, and community-based services to better support wellness and nursing home diversion.
