Public Housing and Public Health
Decades of state, federal, and local policy have created living conditions in public housing apartments and surrounding neighborhoods that directly lead to chronic health conditions and simultaneously set up barriers to residents advocating for those conditions to be remediated. Through this lens, this program examines litigating conditions and repairs cases for public housing tenants, as well as the intersection of these chronic health issues and eviction defense for public housing tenants and best practices for combatting these issues holistically
