Rising to Meet the Challenge: Legal Service Providers’ Strategies

This CLE provides an overview of challenges, response, and innovations among legal service providers to assist the large number of asylum seekers arriving in the state in recent years. Speakers discuss limited-scope legal clinics, friend of the court programs to guide asylees through the immigration court process, online community resources, self-help materials and support to help asylum seekers understand and navigate the law on their own behalf.
