In an era when artificial intelligence can blur the lines between reality and fabrication, how can judges ensure the authenticity of digital evidence? This Continuing Legal Education (CLE) program explores the legal questions raised concerning the authenticity and admissibility of this evidence and present examples to illustrate how deep fake content can distort the truth and undermine trust—both inside and outside the courtroom.
