International Law Section | Global Conference 2025

WHAT IS THE GLOBAL CONFERENCE? Each year, NYSBA’s International Section hosts a conference in a different city outside of the United States to provide American and foreign colleagues the opportunity to meet, network, and expand their international practices. Our most recent conferences have been held in Seoul, Mexico City, London, New York City, Tokyo, Montréal, Antigua, Guatemala, Paris, São Paulo, Vienna, Hanoi, Lisbon, Panama, Sydney, and the list goes on! The Global Conference will feature three days of Continuing Legal Education (CLE) panels and plenaries, covering a range of pressing topics in international law. This year’s event will take place in Hamburg, Germany, providing exceptional networking opportunities through extended breaks, luncheons, a Welcome Reception at The Parlament, a Legal Dine-Around hosted by sponsoring law firms, and our signature Gala Reception and Dinner at the International Maritime Museum Hamburg.
