This program will showcase women commercial litigators through the re-enactment of an actual civil trial with the presentations of compelling opening and closing statements and direct and cross-examinations of witnesses, followed by a critique of the presentation by prominent members of the judiciary.  There will also be an awards ceremony for the presentation of the Hon. Shira A. Scheindlin Award for Excellence in the Courtroom, and the Hon. Judith S. Kaye Commercial and Federal Litigation Scholarship to five female litigators exemplifying excellence in commercial litigation skills and practice.  The program and awards ceremony will be followed by a reception.
