Recent Developments in Search and Seizure
Judge Kamins will review recent developments in certain fundamental Fourth Amendment principles, including probable cause in DWI cases and in drug cases as well as the issue of standing. In addition he will review recent case law in the area of street encounters, search warrants of cell phones and automobile stops and searches, including a new type of automobile stop that was recently discussed by the New York Court of Appeals.
