The New York State Bar Association’s Trial Lawyers Section is proud to present the 6th Annual Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg Vanguard Award & CLE Program, celebrating a Trial Attorney who has made a significant impact in advancing equity, diversity, and inclusion within the legal profession.

Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s legacy as a fearless advocate for justice continues to inspire generations. She fought tirelessly for gender equality, civil rights, and the protection of marginalized communities, using her position to break down barriers and pave the way for future legal professionals. This program honors an attorney who exemplifies these same values—someone who works to ensure that the legal system is fair, inclusive, and representative of the diverse society it serves.

This virtual event will take place on October 22, 2025, from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM, offering attendees the opportunity to reflect on the lasting impact of Justice Ginsburg’s work and the ongoing efforts to foster diversity in the legal field.

Program Highlights:

• Award Presentation: Recognizing an attorney whose work has significantly advanced diversity, equity, and inclusion.

• Engaging Discussion: A thought-provoking conversation on the challenges and opportunities in achieving a more inclusive legal profession.

• Earn CLE Credit: Attendees will receive 1.0 MCLE credit in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI).
