ICE Enforcement for Non-Immigration Lawyers: What to Expect | Video Replay
This CLE will review current immigration law and policy for those who interface regularly with noncitizens and are not well versed in U.S. immigration law. We will cover basic immigration terms and concepts; the current landscape, including the many executive orders that have been issued which apply to noncitizens and how they may be interpreted; the rights noncitizens have when encountered by Immigration and Customs Enforcement and cooperating law enforcement agencies; and the law of “harboring” an unlawfully present migrant.
