An Overview of the Affordable Neighborhood Cooperative Program from A to Z

What’s New? Tools for New Affordable Coops and Condos_675

This program will provide an overview of the process for converting an existing rental building to an HDFC cooperative status under the City’s Affordable Neighborhood Cooperative Program (“ANCP”). Attorneys will come away with a better understanding of the multitude of steps involved in cooperative conversion process under ANCP, as well as the various agencies and private parties involved in these conversions. The program will also discuss the typical construction and permanent financing for conversions, and the disclosure documents filed with the New York Attorney General.
